Copyright and Intellectual Property

The Basics

Creative Commons is an international nonprofit organization that maintains a system of licensing models that let's creators choose how others can use their copyrighted work. This system allows creators to be more open with their work while still retaining their copyright. It offers a free, easy, and standard way of protecting your work while still allowing for distribution. Follow this link to find out more on Creative Commons.
