The library offers a number of bookable spaces. They may be used for studying, group work, meetings, and other events. Use of library study rooms must comply with the Library Study Room Rules of Use.
Collaboration Rooms – L207, L209, L211, L213
Include a large conference table, and two large-screen digital display panels. Designed to accommodate up to 8 students. Can be booked 24+ hours in advance; otherwise, available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Study Rooms – L208, L210
Includes a table, chairs and a chalkboard. Designed to accommodate 2-4 students. Can be booked 24+ hours in advance; otherwise, available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Schroeder Conference Room
The Schroeder Conference Room is an excellent location for faculty meetings, thesis defenses, and group gatherings. The room is equipped with resources for video presentations, and audio and video conferencing. The room can seat approximately 20 people around its perimeter. Reservations must be made a minimum of 5 days in advance.
Group Study
The second floor of the library is an area where socialization is welcome. There are large tables and plenty of seating for group collaboration. This floor also includes a commons area with banquette and booth seating.
Silent Study
The first floor of the library is a silent study zone, equipped with comfortable chairs and individual tables and study carrels. Conversation and noise are not allowed on this floor to ensure that students have a quiet area on campus for study.
