A quick video tutorial on basic medical searching. We talk about the steps of the process as well as demonstrate a search using PubMed.
When performing a search, it is important to remember to save your work. No one likes spending hours on a challenging task only for it to vanish hours later. The best thing to do in this case is to save your searches in the database itself. Creating a profile in a database is fairly straightforward. Look for a "Login", "My Account", or "Sign in" Options - typically in the top right hand corner of the screen. Sign up using your MSOE email address and username. Creating an account is free to databases we subscribe to. For more information on saving searches and creating a search alert please view the follow video.
